Thank you for the awesome weather during this relaxing weekend. HB and I were off early for summer hours on Friday and we headed downtown for the day. We were on a hunt of a pan-fried dumpling place that was as awkwardly as good as the one we had in Montreal (Mai Xiang Yuan), however the mission is destined to be continued.
We went shopping for gifts for my colleagues and stopped by Magnum Pop-up Store at Yonge and Bloor. You get to make your own creamsicles by choosing chocolate or vanilla icecream; dark, milk or white chocolate coating; over 20 toppings by choice to add; chocolate drizzles - for $6 each. Though the line up was long, but it was a beautiful day and was an interesting experience. They have extended the pop-up store till end of August, give it a try when you have a chance!
