Wedding 101:
First thing first, nothing can be done until you have decided the venue of your wedding and set the "lucky Chinese calendar" date!
Today after work, we went to meet with "Venue #1 Event Manager", had a quick chat with her and got more details on top of the emails and phone calls that we have been exchanging for the past week. We have three more appointments upcoming for the next few weeks with a few other places in my mind, hopefully by the end of this month we can have a date set and venue found for the wedding!
They say couples will most likely fight the most during the planning process. Chances calling the wedding off is actually quite high. Luckily, HB and I still haven't fought for a bit yet. My Fiance is always supportive and I am being very realistic. I guess at the end of the day, everyone just has to know where they stand and what kind of things they can afford, but not minus meaning of getting married. All we have been doing is giggling during discussions and doing a lot of hugging after discussions, because both of us are just simply so happy. Wedding is a lot a lot a lot of work, never doubted that, actually more work than I have ever thought, but this feeling of happiness and being content, is simply irreplaceable.
Review for Venue #1 - it's gorgeous, it's a tiny bit above budget (but still okay), it's going to look absolutely beautiful during the time of that season, place is a tad too big - i feel like guests will be wondering around, not intimate enough for my taste, too beautiful too grand, it's stunning but not exactly my style.
